Starts
Start of the Week –
Drew Brees vs Detroit Lions

Brees has certainly been off to a slow start, but he had some hope last week with dump offs to Kamara. Now Michael Thomas may be back, and they go up against the Detroit Lions this week. Their defense has allowed seven touchdowns and an average of 21 points per game to quarterbacks. If Brees needs a good game, it is this one.
Tom Brady vs Los Angeles Chargers

Brady did well last weekend against the Broncos putting up over 23 fantasy points. While a match against the Chargers doesn’t look great they just lost their top corner Chris Harris Jr. to IR, and that puts Brady in a big chance to score huge points even with Chris Godwin out to injury.
Cam Newton vs Kansas City Chiefs

Newton may not have played his greatest last weekend against the Raiders, but I surprisingly like him against the Chiefs this weekend. Despite them keeping Lamar in check, Coach Belichick has to be planning a way for Newton to overcome this defense. They also have given up an average of 19 points to enemy quarterbacks through the 2020 season.
Matt Stafford vs New Orleans Saints

Stafford got his first win last weekend against the Arizona Cardinals, and now he might be in for another good performance this week when he takes on the New Orleans Saints. Their defense hasn’t been great this season, and it truly shows with them giving up nine touchdowns and more than 22 points per game to quarterbacks. Stafford should produce well here.
Joe Burrow vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Even though the Bengals haven’t been doing great, Burrow has been doing quite well in terms of fantasy points. The kid almost had his first victory last weekend against the Eagles, but I feel this can be his shining moment against a struggling Jaguars defense that let Ryan Fitzpatrick run all over them.
Sleepers;
Ryan Fitzpatrick vs Seattle Seahawks
Jared Goff vs New York Giants
Ben Roethlisberger vs Tennessee Titans
Sits
Sit of the Week –
Carson Wentz vs San Francisco 49ers

Wentz is becoming a disappointment for the Eagles starting off with 0-2-1 record. He couldn’t even beat the Cincinnati Bengals, and how he is expected to take on the San Francisco 49ers defense. Even with all their injuries, I still believe Wentz won’t stand a chance.
Ryan Tannehill vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Tannehill was a start last week, and it did not pan out the way I thought against the Vikings. I certainly don’t believe he will do better against the Steelers whenever they or if they play this week because of COVID. Regardless, Tannehill is a major sit if they play.
Kirk Cousins vs Houston Texans

Cousins tried everything in his power to get the Vikings their first win, but sadly the defense couldn’t hold their own. Honestly most of the damage was done by Dalvin Cook and a lucky shot to Justin Jefferson. Even though the Texans haven’t been great on defense, I still have my concerns with starting him this week.
Philip Rivers vs Chicago Bears

Rivers didn’t need to do much against a poor Jets defense, and plus the Colts defense handled the offense with two pick sixes. I don’t really believe Rivers is a wise choice to play against a Bears defense who has allowed the second fewest points to quarterbacks throughout the 2020 season.
Nick Foles vs Indianapolis Colts

While Foles looked great against the Falcons, I am not so sure about how he will do against a Colts defense that made Sam Darnold look like a defenseless child last week. I would just wait and see how Foles plays his first official start as a Bear, and then let’s see what happens afterward. This is just a minor cautionary measure.
Busts;
Gardner Minshew vs Cincinnati Bengals
Daniel Jones vs Los Angeles Rams
Justin Herbert vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
