Start of the Week –
Odell Beckham Jr. vs Dallas Cowboys
Beckham hasn’t been really relative in fantasy lately, but he has a huge opportunity against a terrible Cowboys secondary. The Cowboys have been in shootouts all season long, and honestly I don’t see it stopping now. Beckham is perfect this week. Plug him in.
D.K. Metcalf vs Miami Dolphins
Metcalf has been on fire lately for the Seattle Seahawks, and while I believe Tyler Lockett will have his time too, Metcalf has grown tremendously from last year. He’ll be going against a Dolphins defense that has allowed over 21 fantasy points to wide receivers who are lined up out wide. Metcalf is prime for major points this week.
CeeDee Lamb vs Cleveland Browns
CeeDee did the best he could with all that happened last weekend against Seattle with all the targets going everywhere. He has a better chance this week against the Cleveland Browns. Their defense has been terrible against slot receivers this season allowing the second most points to the position. Look for Lamb to do well this week.
Tyler Boyd vs Jacksonville Jaguars
Boyd did great last weekend against the Eagles. Now he has the opportunity to help Joe Burrow out once again when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their defense couldn’t handle Parker last weekend and I doubt they are able to handle one of Burrow’s favorite targets through the 2020 season.
DeVante Parker vs Seattle Seahawks
Parker did fairly well last week against the Jaguars, but he didn’t need to be great in order for Miami to come away with the win. This week though, Parker is going to have to be a vocal point if the Dolphins hope to catch up to the Seahawks.
Allen Lazard vs Atlanta Falcons
Brandin Cooks vs Minnesota Vikings
Marquise Brown vs Washington Football Team
Sit of the Week –
D.J. Moore vs Arizona Cardinals
So you are probably going to play Moore this weekend regardless of what I say, but it does not look great. The Cardinals are the best team at defending wide receivers, and Moore has had less than 10 fantasy points in two of his three games. Sorry, but he’s a hard pass.
Terry McLaurin vs Baltimore Ravens
Scary Terry might be a bit timid this week when he faces the Baltimore Ravens defense. Don’t mistake what the Chiefs did last week to what Washington will do this week. The defense will crush Haskins, and he won’t be able to get the ball off fast enough. Therefore McLaurin doesn’t catch the ball enough to equal significant points.
Julian Edelman vs Kansas City Chiefs
Edelman didn’t have the best of luck against the Raiders surprisingly last weekend, and now he goes up against the Chiefs defense. While not incredible, the Chiefs were able to put Marquise Brown completely out of the picture last weekend. Edelman might get targeted a lot, but I don’t think he’ll make many grabs.
A.J. Green vs Jacksonville Jaguars
Green is getting plenty of targets in Burrow’s share time, but he just isn’t quite used to being back in the offense yet. He’ll just need more time to develop and a matchup with the Jaguars just isn’t the best time to do it. Fade on him hard this week.
Darius Slayton vs Los Angeles Rams
Slayton has been quite lately due to the ineffectiveness of Daniel Jones. I certainly don’t see things getting any better when they have to take on the Rams, and Slayton has to go one-on-one with Jalen Ramsey. He’s a bencher this week until the Giants play a team with a weak secondary.
Emmanuel Sanders vs Detroit Lions
Keelan Cole vs Cincinnati Bengals
Justin Jefferson vs Houston Texans
