Dekes First Mock Draft

I used Mock out’s draft order up until the last four teams, just to let everyone know where I got the standings from. Let me know where you would have went different!

Cincinnati Bengals	Joe Burrow (QB/LSU) Despite Keaton’s best efforts, I’m going with a QB for Cincy. There isn’t a player in recent memory who has done more for their draft stock than Burrows. Let the Zac Taylor Era take full effect.
New York Giants	Chase Young (DE/Ohio State) This has to be how everyone’s mock starts, right? Chase Young is a franchise player who would instantly impact any defense. Young, Lawrence, Williams and Tomlinson…breakout defense for 2020.
Washington Redskins	Andrew Thomas (OT/Georgia) The Washington Redskins are in an interesting bind where they basically need help everwhere. With the imminent departure of Trent Williams and Donald Penn getting old, fill in the best lineman in this draft instantly.
Miami Dolphins	Justin Herbert (QB/Oregon) With the Tua injury, I just wasn’t comfortable assuming he would still land with the Dolphins. I do like Josh Rosen, but I think the Dolphins go with a guy who might not have the highest ceiling, but absolutely has the most consistant floor of any QB in this draft.
Atlanta Falcons	Tristan Wirfs (OT/Iowa) The Atlanta Falcons are in shambles currently despite still having big names on the defensive side of the ball. As it currently sits, their biggest need is to protect Matt Ryan enough to get the ball to their threats. I could see them trading back in this draft or going DB, but as it currently sits they take Wirfs and instantly sure up that line.
Detroit Lions	Jeffrey Okudah (CB/Ohio State) In their man to man coverage, what better cover corner can you name in this draft? The Lions need a lot of things, but with Okudah, scratch #1 corner off of their list.
Arizona Cardinals	Jedrick Wills (OT/Alabama) The Arizona Cardinals have actually been solid so far with ew head coach Kliff. They have their franchise QB, a number of talented receivers and a running back decision to make, but we can all agree that line needs help. Another instant impact player from this draft in Wills.
Jacksonville Jaguars	Derrick Brown (DT/Auburn) The Jacksonville Jaguars will most likely select an O Lineman if one falls, but as it sits now they just need some talent. Insert Derrick Brown, a big man on the inside that rarely loses 1 on 1 battles. He won’t be an Aaron Donald, but this guy will clog up lanes against the best of them.
New York Jets	A.J. Epenesa (DE/Iowa) Epenesa has been climbing draft boards recently, and at 6’6”, for good reason. The Jets let Leonard Williams head to the Giants, so they will be looking to bolster their pressure up front. Epenesa has a long reach, making him a great NFL prospect at the position.
L.A. Chargers	Tua Tagovailoa (QB/Alabama) I hate to say it, but Philip Rivers just looks done. The Chargers are now in the “let’s find the next guy who Rivers can teach” phase, meaning that there is no better time than right now to select the Alabama signal caller. I hate the fact that this talented offense needs changes, but there is no Super Bowl with Rivers at the helm.
Denver Broncos	Grant Delpit (S/LSU) The Broncos may have found their franchise QB after one game in Drew Lock, so let’s just assume he balls out and they love him. Insert Delpit, who at the beginning of the year was a projected top five pick. He isn’t quite the “QB of the defense” yet, but if we know one thing about LSU, they breeeeeeed DB’s.
Philadelphia Eagles	Kristian Fulton (CB/LSU) Speaking of LSU DB’s, is there anyone more ready to be inserted into that Eagles secondary than Kristian Fulton? They Eagles have been terrible against the pass this season. Let’s get the help they need and get Wentz back to a Super Bowl.
Tampa Bay Bucs	Trevon Diggs (CB/Alabama) A lot of mocks have the Bucs selecting a quarterback, but I think they lean more towards free agency OR keeping Winston. Diggs is a solid option at corner, one that should instantly help the league’s worst secondary.
Carolina Panthers	Isaiah Simmons (S/Clemson) I have no clue what happens with this team in the future, so when in doubt, go with the talent. Simmons is a great option at Safety for the NFL level, and the Panthers will need to just take a Best Player Available approach here.
Cleveland Browns	Tyler Biadasz (C/Wisconsin) Insert Paul Rubb Meme Here please. Man…who would have thought we’d be here? The Browns had an extremely disappointing 2019 campaign, all on the heels of their O-Line just not being able to give Baker enough time. Biadasz should fix some of that pressure instantly up the middle.
Oakland Raiders	Jerry Jeudy (WR/Alabama) Man, the Raiders had one of the best rookie drafts EVER (no, seriously) when it comes to production in 2019. Can they back that up with a strong 202o draft? Jerry Jeudy is the all time favorite at receiver in this draft, so let’s get Gruden some talent that they thought they had in AB.
Indianapolis Colts	Paulson Adebo (CB/Stanford) The Colts have an insane amount of cap this off season, so expect a big splash. For me, Adebo fills a secondary need that should make some big plays next year. The Colts need few things fixed, but that secondary needs work now.
Oakland Raiders	K’Lavon Chaisson (OLB/LSU) Again, the Raiders are just sitting back and waiting for their guys. K’Lavon Chaisson is the edge rusher Gruden wants, the guy that Gruden says is “hard to find” (after trading away Khalil Mack mind you). Give me LSU defensive players all damn day.
Tennessee Titans	Yetur Gross-Matos (DE/Penn State) Smalls called into the show once to discuss CFB, and I asked him about Gross-Matos. He basically said he has a lot of growing to do, but this kid could be something. The Titans always seem to just have weirdly premiere talent and still end just above .500, so they take the talent.
Jacksonville Jaguars	CeeDee Lamb (WR/Oklahoma) The Jaguars already got their DT this draft, so let’s get Gardner Minshew some talent. CeeDee lamb has had his fair share of injuries, but he is no doubt the second best receiver in this draft. I like what D.J. Chark has done this year, but I don’t see him replicating that in 2020. Dede and CeeDee to the moon
Dallas Cowboys	Javon Kinlaw (DT/ South Carolina) I have no clue what exactly the Cowboys needs. They have solid receivers, a GREAT RB, a top ten Qb, a good defensive, and still play terribly. Just going with straight raw talent here in Kinlaw. Kinlaw isn’t a very well known name, but he has been wrecking O-Lines this season.
Miami Dolphins	Creed Humphrey (C/Oklahoma) The Dolphins need a lot of things, but let’s start by protecting their quarterback. Humphrey is a plug and play interior guy,a nd despite needing help everywhere on that line, let’s just start with the talent.
Minnesota Vikings	Austin Jackson (OT/USC) The Vikings have had a weird year in 2019 so far where some games they look elite, and others…well, not so much. Let’s sure up that line so we can protect Cousins AND Cook heading forward.
Kansas City Chiefs	D’Andre Swift (RB/Georgia) The Chiefs are a proven running back away from offensive elite status, so they will get their pick at any of the backs in this draft. Although I LOVE Jonathon Taylor, Swift seems to fit todays NFL RB status to the T.
Miami Dolphins	Laviska Shenault Jr. (WR/Colorado) So the Dolphins have their QB of the future AND some help on that O-Line, so let’s get Herbert some weapons. The buzz around Shenault couldn’t be higher right now as the Colorado receiver announced he will officially enter the draft.
Buffalo Bills	Henry Ruggs III (WR/Alabama) The Bills proved everyone wrong in 2019 with a great run, one that showed that Josh Allen is the real deal. They swoop in and grab Ruggs, a great receiver to add to that core of Brown and Beasley.
Green Bay Packers	Tee Higgins (WR/Clemson) How absolutely upsetting have the Packers receivers been this year? When everyone thought it would be a breakout year due to Adams injuries for MSV and Allison, we all got to know and love Lazard. Add Higgins, a big reciever (6’4″) to pair well with Adams moving forward.
New Orleans Saints	Kenneth Murray (OLB/Oklahoma) There isn’t much needed on arguably the most complete team in the NFL, so adding an outside lineback to help cover to combine with their pressure is just icing to the cake.
New England Patriots	Brycen Hopkins (TE/Purdue) I think this is the most obvious pre-combine selection known to man kind. The Patriots need play makers, especially at the TE Position. Hopkins isn’t electric, but he might end up being the best TE in this draft.
Seattle Seahawks	Lucas Niang (OT/TCU) Despite their amazing record, the Seahawks line is still garbage. Niang isn’t the best tackle in this draft, but he should be a nice option to help Wilson secure yet another MVP run in 2020.
San Francisco 49ers	Shaun Wade (CB/Ohio State) The rich get richer. Wade is a solid corner, and Ohio State has become almost parallel with LSU when it comes to defensive backs. Let’s prepare the 49ers for any post-Sherman talk with another talented DB.
Baltimore Ravens	Dylan Moses (ILB/Alabama) When C.J. Mosley departed, there really hasn’t been an ILB who has stepped up for that role. Moses isn’t Bush or White from the 2019 draft, but he could be a nice plug in player while the Ravens are hot now. O and yeah, Baltimore wins the Super Bowl. Spoiler Alert.
