You know the drill folks. Let’s dive in. The start of the week last weekend was Chase Claypool. He didn’t even put up eight points so that is a loss while my sit of the week was DK Metcalf and yes he struggled yet again, but at least he got to double digits. Let’s try to get into what we have for this week.
Starts
Start of the Week;
DK Metcalf vs Houston Texans

Going from the sit of the week last week to the start of the week this week might seem unusual, but hear me out here. They are playing the Texans. Their defense has done okay, but something is just telling me that this is the week that Metcalf gets back on track with Russel Wilson. Look for him to be physical and get a decent amount of points for fantasy owners everywhere.
Hunter Renfrow vs Kansas City Chiefs

Renfrow has been a godsend these last two weeks with the number of points he has brought in. Two back-to-back weeks of over 20 points. I like him this weekend considering that Darren Waller is going to be out again, and there isn’t another pass-catcher I trust on the Raiders more than Renfrow. The amount of catches he gets per game too is astonishing. Get him in your lineups yet again when the Raiders take on the Chiefs.
Elijah Moore vs New Orleans Saints

The rookie has been the one shining light on this pitiful Jets team. It now seems as if he has finally developed a connection with struggling quarterback Zach Wilson as the duo did well last week against the Eagles. I like him this week a lot when the Jets take on the Saints. This is not the same Saints defense. They are letting receivers go through them like butter. Elijah Moore will be the hot knife that cuts through.
Van Jefferson vs Arizona Cardinals

I was initially worried for the rookie when Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp were getting all the bread. When Woods went down, I thought okay, here we go. Then Odell came and I got nervous again. However, Jefferson seems to be a great option regardless as he has had back-to-back weeks of double-digit points and touchdowns in both of those games. Look for him to take advantage of some good separation here and strike like a coiled viper against the Cardinals.
Jarvis Landry vs Baltimore Ravens

Landry has been hot and cold for most of the season, but the number one receiver in Cleveland should finally hit some paydirt here when facing the Ravens. Their entire secondary seems to be dealing with injuries including Marlon Humphrey who will be out the rest of the year. The yards might not be there, but the catches will be from Baker Mayfield to him in this one. He’s a great flex option if you need one.
Sleepers;
Jerry Jeudy vs Detroit Lions
Marques Valdez-Scatling vs Chicago Bears
Jalen Guyton vs New York Giants
Sits
Sit of the Week;
DeAndre Hopkins vs Los Angeles Rams

Putting one of the best (if not the best) wideouts in football on this list at all would normally give some people some concerns. However, putting him as the sit of the week is probably going to land me in hot water. However, I will be the brave one to say it. DeAndre Hopkins has not been that great this year. Between injuries and inconsistent games, it seems now that Hopkins is touchdown dependant. It sucks even to say, man. Now we will be going against the Rams, and will likely be shadowed by Ramsey for most of the contest.
Emmanuel Sanders vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sanders started off so nice at the beginning of the season, but now he is ice-cold given the Bills’ struggles on the field. Honestly, it just seems like if your name isn’t Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, or Dawson Knox you essentially can’t be started anymore. Even Gabriel Davis is getting more catches and more points than Sanders. He just might be a lost cause at this point especially facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kenny Golladay vs Los Angeles Chargers

Golladay was always going to be a question mark heading into this season, but man has he been disappointing, to say the least. He has been dealing with injuries left and right this season, and now he will be going up against a team that is really good against the pass; the Los Angeles Chargers. He will likely be taking throws from either Mike Glennon or Jake Fromm so keep that in mind as well.
Allen Robinson vs Green Bay Packers

If there has been a player that was drafted high and had nothing but disappointment written over their name so far in the season, it has been Allen Robinson. He is questionable to go against the Packers, but even if he plays, I don’t like his odds out there. Mooney has clearly taken that number one role in the offense, and with guys like Kmet and Graham still catching passes, it seems like Robinson’s value is just dust in the wind at this point.
Russell Gage vs Carolina Panthers

Gage powered back with decent numbers last weekend against the Bucs, but with a divisional game coming up this weekend against the Panthers, it makes me double back a bit. I honestly believe that Atlanta will struggle heavily in this one. I would say he might get targeted a lot, but the catches don’t seem to be in his favor. I’d avoid him this week.
Busts;
Marvin Jones Jr. vs Tennessee Titans
Amon-Ra St. Brown vs Denver Broncos
Tre’Quan Smith vs New York Jets
