Well here we are again people. The 2020 regular season has concluded, and now we are entering the finals of the playoffs and Super Bowl of the year. During this time, I’d like to reach out to the teams that struggled this past year. You guys suck, and now something is in order those teams and others that have had success, but time seems to be dwindling. With that all said I give to you; My Top Ten Teams That Need To Rebuild for the 2021 season.
10.) Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars have basically moved all their talent, so they are in the direct range of a complete rebuild. They are looking to get Trevor Lawrence as their franchise quarterback, and they have Urban Meyer as their head coach with Doug Marone finally gone. Give them a rebuild of the offense and defense, and this team will definitely pull itself out from it’s 1-15 crapshoot record it had this past season.
9.) New York Jets

The Jets are on their way to a rebuild as well. They fired Adam Gase, let go of Le’Veon Bell, and hired Robert Saleh as their new head coach who apparently is bringing Mike LaFleur as an offensive coordinator as well. Things are looking good for the Jets. I do believe they will have to trade Sam Darnold in order to get a quarterback in the draft or get a deal finalized to get Deshaun Watson.
8.) Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings finished with a record of 7-9 this year. They finished with a record of 10-6 in 2019. Something went wrong here, and honestly it might help to start with the defense. The defense this year was just awful compared to what we have seen from the Vikings in the past. Mike Zimmer is a defensive head coach. This is not a good sign. The offense is alright with some issues of Kirk Cousins, but the team needs a complete rebuild defensively, and maybe something from the coaching standpoint as well.
7.) Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles had a very rough season in 2020 finishing with a record of 4-11-1. Carson Wentz sucked, and now he could possibly be on the move. It wouldn’t be the first piece moved as head coach Doug Pederson got fired and was replaced by Nick Sirianni who was the offensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts. I have no doubt that Wentz will be on the move, and Hurts will be there to stay. The offense needs rebuilt and so does that trash defense. Lots of things have to happen for the Eagles to get back to the Super Bowl.
6.) Chicago Bears

The Bears finished 8-8 this season, and with that record they finished second in the division. However, there are some big things to consider because this team needs a rebuild. The coach and GM should have been gone after this year, but nope they are still there. That needs to change. Both Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles sucked at quarterback. Their defense had a hard time. Allen Robinson is gonna be a free agent in the 2021 season. All these things considered, Chicago is definitely a team that needs to rebuild, and they need to do it quickly.
5.) New Orleans Saints

The Saints are without Drew Brees now. They will have to decide between Taysom Hill and Jameis Winston for who will be the quarterback of the future. Some might be confused as to why the Saints are on here. To be honest their offense needs improved. More along the line, the play calling by Sean Payton needs rebuild cause it is straight trash. I like the Saints, but man I have never been one to like Sean Payton. So yes maybe some offensive and defensive members need replaced, the quarterback needs decided upon, and the game style and planning all needs rebuilt for the Saints to succeed.
4.) Detroit Lions

The Lions are here again…Obviously, they don’t learn, but they still are apart of a rebuild, but that rebuild is failing so they need to start another rebuild for this rebuild. Confused yet? Well the Lions obviously are as they continue to repeat the same old vicious cycle. However, they seem to be on the right track as they’ve hired a unique head coach; Dan Campbell. Now, all that needs to happen is for the Lions to trade Stafford and start over at the quarterback position. The offense and defense have some studs, but overall the ingredients need shifted around once again for this formula to work properly.
3.) Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons had a lot of offensive talent this year, but they still finished with a record of 4-12. This team has been struggling in various elements, but especially on defense while trying to close out games. I am not sure how they did, but they were god awful this year. They passed way more than they ran, and they barely used Todd Gurley at all. Julio Jones and Matt Ryan need to be on the trade block. Hopefully, new head coach Arthur Smith gets his guy, which I have a hunch, it might be Justin Fields.
2.) Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers, despite their record this season, are in desperate times right now. We had the worst rushing attack in the NFL, our offensive line is old and outdated, our defense got pounded away with injuries, and Big Ben should not come back as the quarterback of the Steelers. But, we all know it is going to happen. We even interviewed Hue Jackson as an offensive coordinator and he used to be the head coach for the Cleveland Browns. We also signed Dwayne Haskins which also gives us a notion that the Steelers will be looking to rebuild after this season. We need it too because there are a lot of things that we need to do to get back to the Super Bowl.
1.) Houston Texans

The Texans organization is such trash, it is unreal. Their organization, despite having Deshaun Watson, went 4-12 on the season. Their defense was pure garbage to the point where JJ Watt was calling guys out for not giving 100%. Now the team might lose Watson and Watt. Deshaun has already expressed his frustrations with the team, and he is basically looking to go elsewhere. Let’s cut all the emotional tape though guys. This team sucks. They need rebuilt from head to toe, and need everything changed about them, and I mean everything needs changed. If it doesn’t this team will be the laughing stock for the NFL for years to come.
