Start’ Em Sit’ Em Wide Receivers – Week 12

Starts

Start of the Week –

Justin Jefferson vs Carolina Panthers

Jefferson has a great opportunity to do some damage against the Carolina Panthers this weekend. With Adam Theilen maybe out due to COVID, Jefferson will become the number one receiver. The Panthers might have a decent secondary, but give Jefferson the ball and he will produce.

Chase Claypool vs Baltimore Ravens

Claypool and the other Pittsburgh receivers could go here, but for some reason Claypool is sticking out to me to do well for his matchup against Baltimore. Big Ben has made a target machine out of the young rookie and he looks to be in good shape against a shaky Baltimore defense.

Brandin Cooks vs Detroit Lions

Cooks finished with 12 points against the Patriots with 85 receiving yards. He would have had more points if a penalty didn’t wipe out a touchdown. Cooks and Fuller are great options to go to against the Detroit Lions this Thanksgiving. Their secondary is butt, and Cooks should well in an early Thursday contest.

DeVante Parker vs New York Jets

Parker is a great option for a WR2 or flex when he and the Dolphins take on the winless New York Jets. This holds well for Parker and Tua and as Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen roasted them for a bunch of points. Get Parker in there and watch him rip the Jets apart.

Michael Pittman Jr. vs Tennessee Titans

Pittman has had two back-back weeks of great performances against the Titans and the Packers. He is starting to really build trust with Philip Rivers and is breaking into his favorite target. He faces the Titans this week who are ranked 28th against wide receivers. Flex him up people.

Sleepers;

Antonio Brown vs Kansas City Chiefs

Nelson Agholor vs Atlanta Falcons

Damiere Byrd vs Arizona Cardinals

Sits

Sit of the Week-

The Bengals Receivers vs The New York Giants

Now this is kind of a dumb statement to make, but honestly with Ryan Finley throwing the ball instead of Joe Burrow, probably only one of these guys will be good moving forward. It will probably be Boyd, but until I see one game with how it will work, I’ll be sitting Boyd, Higgins, and Green this week against a decent Giants defense.

Jamison Crowder vs Miami Dolphins

Crowder is starting to get bullied into the benches in our fantasy leagues due to shitty quarterback play. It’s not his fault man. He’s a great slot receiver. A game against the Dolphins doesn’t feel great though unless Sam Darnold gets back in there instead of Flacco.

Jerry Jeudy vs New Orleans Saints

Jeudy has seemed to take his rightful position at the top of the receiver margins for the Denver Broncos. Last week was kind of a bad one, but the team rolled with a run game and the defense to win so the receivers were not really needed. Lock will need Jeudy in this one against the Saints who are a little shaky in the secondary, but have stepped it up in recent weeks.

Marquise Brown vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Brown has been a complete bust this 2020 season. Not his fault though as Lamar has had a hard time getting him the ball. It shouldn’t be hard, but it is. So while he scored big on the Steelers in their first go around, last week he scored a big fat goose egg. I’d sit him against the Steelers.

Corey Davis vs Indianapolis Colts

Davis went off against the Baltimore Ravens last weekend. I do not see that happening twice in one week as they will face the Indianapolis Colts. He got 11 points from them the last time, but I see A.J. Brown getting a lot more than one 22-yard catch. Start Brown. Bench Davis.

Busts;

Deebo Samuel vs Los Angeles Rams

Russell Gage vs Las Vegas Raiders

Michael Gallup vs Washington Football Team
