Start’ Em Sit’ Em Wide Receivers – Week 10

Starts

Start of the Week –

Cooper Kupp vs Seattle Seahawks

Cooper has been relegated to almost being touchdown dependent this season. Even drawing a questionable tag, Cooper has a fantastic matchup with the Seattle Seahawks as their defense is the worst against receivers. With the amount of targets that go his way, Cooper should do quite well.

Travis Fulgham vs New York Giants

Fulgham has had plenty of opportunity to gain from receivers going down with injuries. He has scored double digit points since he started in week four. He only had 12 points against New York, but I still believe he will score a bunch of points in this one.

Christian Kirk vs Buffalo Bills

Kirk has really come alive in terms of his playing style this last three weeks as he has scored over 20 points in those contests. While the Bills don’t seem like the best matchup as long as Hopkins gets double teamed, then having Kirk in will help you get the wide open shots.

Diontae Johnson vs Cincinnati Bengals

Johnson actually managed to stay healthy last weekend against the Cowboys and produced quite a bit with double digit fantasy points. I like his odds once again against the Cincinnati Bengals who struggle a little against receivers. Again a lot of times multiple Steelers receivers can get plugged in here so if you have any of them, start them this week.

Brandin Cooks vs Cleveland Browns

Cooks has certainly found his rhythm in the Houston offense with the departure of Billy boy Brien. He hasn’t seen less than double digit points since the start of that, and he has a really good chance of scoring big again against the Cleveland Browns who are ranked 28th against wide receivers.

Sleepers;

Brandon Aiyuk vs New Orleans Saints

Mike Williams vs Miami Dolphins

Curtis Samuel vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sits

Sit of the Week –

Tyler Lockett vs Los Angeles Rams

I know. I know. The last time I put Lockett here, he torched me scoring 50 fantasy points. So I will say this. Metcalf has been looking great in recent weeks, and I trust him a lot more than Lockett in this situation who might get free on some occasions. However, I don’t think his score his going to be what people think this week.

D.J. Chark vs Green Bay Packers

Chark popped off the chain last weekend with what started as a 75-yard touchdown catch and run in the first half against the Texans. From then on, he became Luton’s favorite target. I don’t see that going the same way this week against the Packers who have kept receivers in check for the most part this season.

DeVante Parker vs Los Angeles Chargers

Parker did well with Tua under center last weekend, and he should see more looks with Williams heading to IR, but I don’t know. Something just seems off about having him in my lineup this weekend. Call it a hunch, or I could be completely wrong. You make the judgement call here.

Marquise Brown vs New England Patriots

I believe Baltimore will try to get Brown involved more in the passing attack. Will it work this weekend? I don’t believe so. He faces a Patriots defense that will likely focus on Lamar’s air raided attack and then try to neutralize him on the ground and Brown is his most trusted wide receiver to start. I would avoid him this weekend.

Cole Beasley vs Arizona Cardinals

Beasley didn’t do great last weekend against a prime matchup in the Seahawks, so putting him in against the Cardinals might not be the best move for you in a fantasy perspective. John Brown get the better in last week, and if he is healthy again, there is a chance Beasley heads to his normal third down role which won’t get you many fantasy points.

Busts;

Jakobi Myers vs Baltimore Ravens

T.Y. Hilton vs Tennessee Titans

Richie James vs New Orleans Saints
