Start’ Em Sit’ Em Wide Receivers – Week 6

Starts

Start of the Week –

Jamison Crowder vs Miami Dolphins

Crowder has been quietly producing solid fantasy numbers on a very shit Jets team. He even got 20 plus points against a stingy Arizona secondary and Joe Flacco throwing him the ball. I feel good about making him a start this week against the Miami Dolphins. He sees a major amount of targets each week which makes him a big play against Miami and probably the only good thing (aside from Darnold) on the Jets.

Terry McLaurin vs New York Giants

McLaurin finally gets a great matchup this week against a pitiful New York Giants secondary. The only thing I am concerned about will be the quarterback play, but honestly the Giants defense is nothing to be scared of despite what they did last week to the Dallas Cowboys. McLaurin should be targeted and targeted often in this game.

D.J. Chark vs Detroit Lions

Chark took a bump last weekend and couldn’t finish the game, but he apparently comes back at full strength for this week six matchup against the Lions. Their defense has allowed the ninth most fantasy points to wide receivers. If Chark gets a clean bill of health and is good to go, start him in the lineup this week.

Justin Jefferson vs Atlanta Falcons

Jefferson is going to eat in this game, I can already tell. It really depends on how Kirk Cousins performs, but they face one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. Adam Thielen should be double-covered in this game quite often which should open up the doors for Jefferson to succeed. He’s a big play this week, get him in your lineup.

Michael Gallup vs Arizona Cardinals

I know what you guys are thinking. Why would you start Gallup after he only has had one great game? The changing of the guard at quarterback provided Gallup with decent target shares. I am really hoping that Gallup finally gets his looks in this one against the Arizona Cardinals.

Sleepers;

JuJu Smith-Schuster vs Cleveland Browns

Will Fuller vs Tennessee Titans

Julian Edleman vs Denver Broncos

Sits

Sit of the Week –

D.J. Moore vs Chicago Bears

Moore did a fantastic job against the Falcons last weekend as expected. However, his matchup this weekend against the Bears is anything but favorable. Honestly, Bridgewater seems to be targeting Robby Anderson more which means less for Moore’s value.

Tyler Boyd vs Indianapolis Colts

Boyd didn’t have a great showing last weekend against the Ravens even with A.J Green going out of the game. I hope he can get it together this weekend against the Indianapolis Colts. Their defense pretty much held the Cleveland receivers to few points last week, so it might be best to either flex him or sit him.

Darius Slayton vs Washington Football Team

Slayton excelled last weekend against the pitiful Dallas Cowboys defense. However, while this matchup against the Washington Football Team seems like a favorable one, let us imagine how much pressure Daniel Jones is going to be on from that front seven. I don’t see him getting much time to throw down the field. This leaves Slayton without a lot of points which makes him a sit.

Jerry Jeudy vs New England Patriots

So basically what I said last week counts for this week when Denver was supposed to play New England. Sources say Drew Lock might start this game which could help out Jeudy’s ability, but I’d rather wait and see this week’s game to make my assumptions from there. Even without Gilmore, New England’s secondary is still pretty rock solid.

Travis Fulgham vs Baltimore Ravens

One touchdown against the 49ers was all it took for this kid to get a shot, and man did he prove it against the Steelers last weekend. Ten receptions, 152 yards, and a touchdown then came against the Steelers. This kid is definitely worth a look from the waiver wire, but I would seriously avoid playing him this weekend against the Baltimore Ravens since their defense has given up the second fewest points to enemy wideouts.

Busts;

Brandin Cooks vs Tennessee Titans

Deebo Samuel vs Los Angeles Rams

Tee Higgins vs Indianapolis Colts
