“I’m back.” is now synonymous with two sports icons. Last night during “The Last Dance” we revisited the unretirement of Michael Jordan where he announced his return to the NBA with that simple statement. This one is definitely not as impactful but still exciting as all hell nonetheless.
Mike Tyson posted a video on his Instagram page of him sparring and my god does the baddest man on the planet still throw BOMBS. At the end he says “I’m back” and I couldn’t be happier. I’m going to put this as pure speculation because there’s no official fight lined up for him. If I were to guess, he’s going to fight Evander Holyfield because he officially announced his return to boxing last week.
This isn’t the Mike Tyson of old obviously. The man is 53 years old. You’d have to be a fool to think this is nearly as impactful as the return of Jordan in his prime to the NBA. BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN WE SHOULDN’T GET HYPED! From nostalgia alone, we all should be doing cartwheels! Watch this and tell me you wouldn’t pay for Tyson vs. Holyfield 3. I DARE YOU!
