US soccer has named Will Wilson as the federations new CEO and Secretary General. Wilson is the uncle of retired Colts quarterback, Andrew Luck, and the brother in law of XFL commissioner, Oliver Luck. Wilson replaces ex CEO, Dan Flynn, who stepped down back in September.

Wilson was formerly the executive VP and co-head of football at Wasserman global sports agency for the past 8 years. Prior to that, he was the executive VP of international business and special events for the MLS and Soccer United Marketing.
It is nice to see that US Soccer has added someone to the business side of the sport that will help the game grow in the United States. There is much hope for Wilson to continue to expand the popularity of the US Soccer brand.
