Should Tomlin Be Done In Pittsburgh?

When the 2019 season started in Pittsburgh, everyone was prepared to make the last season a fluke by getting to the playoffs and proving everyone wrong about the Steelers. Sadly, things didn’t go as planned.

Our quarterback; Ben Roethlisberger went down with a season ending injury, James Conner was constantly hurt and our receiving core, with our wideouts and tight ends, wasn’t the best.

However, our defense stood out this year. Pittsburgh had some amazing plays from the defense that took them to new heights and in my mind they were the best defense in the entire NFL this past season. Stars like T.J. Watt, Bud Dupree, Joe Haden and after trading for him in the early weeks of the season, Minkah Fitzpatrick lit it up this year.

After a long and very frustrating year, the Pittsburgh Steelers finished with a record of 8-8. We missed the playoffs for a second straight year and fans are split between what they would like to happen.

My question is this. If we miss the playoffs for a third straight year in 2020, then should we finally put in our words as fans to have Mike Tomlin fired?

Take away the fact that the Rooney’s never fire coaches. I am saying this. If we don’t make the playoffs then do we fire Tomlin as our coach. Let us from Thoughts From The Bench know what you guys think!
