While some people might think that Brady will stick with the Patriots after this year, I just really don’t know how I feel about it. All the factors that have led up to this with his house being put up for sale, the lack of talent around him and finally his relationship strain with Bill Belichick. All of these factors make me believe he will either retire or go play for another team particularly not in the same division. He wants to prove that he can be great without Belichick. He is a free agent for the first time in his career and that can be enticing to a veteran like him. With that being said here are the top ten teams that need to sign Tom Brady.

Pittsburgh Steelers

I am going to put this here and resent it later on while I try not to vomit. Even imagining a quarterback like Brady on my team disgusts me, but I can’t overlook the details. Big Ben is due for a huge injury update next month and part of me is worried that since it was a non-contact injury that maybe they will tell him he can’t play anymore. With the quarterback experiment failing in both Rudolph and Duck who knows what might happen. They might be as crazy as to actually sign Brady until a quarterback they like comes along in the draft to learn from him. Again I’m getting nauseous as I write this, but let’s pretend this never happens, but I can’t rule it out completely.

Philadelphia Eagles

This is a tough one to say because of one important factor; Carson Wentz. However, what has happened the last three years that I have been saying scares me about Wentz. He is incredibly unlucky with injuries. They had to throw Josh McCown in for a huge NFC Wild Card game and he couldn’t get the job done. So here’s my crazy proposal. Trade Wentz for a huge pick in the first round in the draft. Acquire Brady and draft a quarterback that can learn from him. It isn’t the greatest argument in the world, but the Eagles have struggled with Wentz’s injuries and they have cost them on a number of occasions.

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders are moving to Los Vegas so why not bring a new quarterback on their roster that could promise them a championship with the talent around them. Bring in Tom Brady and give him the opportunity to use the weapons around him and make Coach Gruden look like a star in a new city. Raider fans would rejoice at the ability to do well and for Carr to learn great things from Brady when he decides to retake the reigns.

Carolina Panthers

With Carolina hiring a new coach, an impact has to be made to start fresh in a franchise that went to the promise land once, but failed to cash in. The solution is simple. Trade Cam Newton and bring in Brady. Imagine the work he does with his running backs in New England and put them together with Christian McCaffrey who blew the competition away this year with his athletic ability. He could also bring the life back into the rest of the offense with D.J. Moore, Curtis Samuel and Greg Olsen. Plus Allen and Grier could learn from one of the best.

Washington Redskins

The Redskins have had yet another rough season picking at the number two spot in the 2020 NFL Draft. Case Keenum couldn’t cut it. Dwayne Haskins was thrown to the wolves. So what is next for them? Most likely they will draft Chase Young, but what will they do at quarterback? Here’s a suggestion. Why not sign Tom Brady?
The franchise could use a huge player like Brady to bring up their ticket sales in a horrible franchise that has suffered through the cheapening of its own product. Imagine Brady pulling this franchise out of the ground and sending it on its way to do good. That sounds great for Washington in my mind.
#5
Indianapolis Colts

The Colts wouldn’t be a bad place for Brady to go to. They have a great offensive line, actually one of the best in the NFL. Their receiver class is nice with T.Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal and their tight ends are incredible with Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle. Not to mention a pair of uniquely used running backs like Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines. They have the talent to give to Brady and now he can give them something that they haven’t had since 2007. A Super Bowl trophy.
#4
Detroit Lions

The Lions season didn’t go as planned, but coach Matt Patricia will back for another year to try to turn the 2020 season around. With a third pick in the 2020 Draft they should get some talent, but we saw how things went when veteran quarterback Matt Stafford went down with an injury. Put this scenario in your head. What if the Patriots and Lions swapped quarterbacks. Belichick wants a new one and the Lions could use someone to make their offense look good and to teach guys like Driskel and Blough to make them better. Plus, Brady would finally have weapons in Johnson, Golladay, Jones and finally a tight end he can value in Hockenson. Plus, Patricia and others with the Lions are past Patriots members. Seems like an easy win for the Lions.
#3
Cleveland Browns

Man the Cleveland Browns did not live up to all the hype that surrounded them before the 2019 season. After going 6-10 on the year, they fired their head coach and general manager. They need to do something with this offense as Beckham, who was under used, most likely won’t be traded away. So what do you do? Well with the rumors that Cleveland might be looking into Josh McDaniels as their head coach, it wouldn’t be crazy to think maybe Brady might follow him. Imagine Brady, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry and David Njoku. With the right management under McDaniels and having Baker work on his craft under Brady this would be a huge chance for Cleveland to finally rebound from mediocracy.
#2
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

So here is the scenario for this team which might actually work. One, trade Jameis Winston. I can’t see him in a Bucs uniform again so he’s got to go. Second, draft Tua in the 2020 Draft if he falls to you or another quarterback if he is swept up like Justin Herbert. Three, acquire Tom Brady. and have that drafted quarterback sit under him until he retires. Imagine him with this star studded roster of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and a poorly used O.J. Howard. Brady would thrive especially with Arians to help with any mistakes he might make. Plus raising a family in the warm weather of Tampa Bay would be a good idea for Brady to do when he finally hangs his crown up as the G.O.A.T.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers would be the perfect home for Brady to land with Philip Rivers most likely making his way out the door. The roster speaks for itself here with players like Gordon, Ekeler, Allen, Williams and Henry. This roster would be perfect for Brady to work what magic he has left in the tank. Just imagine that roster with him I mean its just too crazy to think of. The next step would be to have Tyrod Taylor learn from him or draft a guy like Tua to be the next guy when Brady is gone. Los Angeles is also a a city where the celebrities are out and about and Tom Brady would fit in there nicely. Heck he might even make more money selling his TB12 method who knows. The bottom line is that this is the best place for Brady to go hands down.
