Cristiano Ronaldo has been on FIRE in his last five league games, scoring eight goals, bringing his season total up to 13 league goals, and 15 in all competitions. Today, he put his team on his back and scored his first hat trick since joining Juventus, and all three goals came in the second half against Cagliari (see video below for the highlights).

Juventus vs Cagliari Goals and Highlights

Just last month (December 18, 2019), the soccer world witnessed what I believe is one of the most insane header goals ever seen. Against Sampdoria, he leaped 2.56 meters, or just above 8 feet in the air.
What is even more impressive is that there seems to be no sign of him slowing down. At 34 years old, he is still unstoppable. Ronaldo currently sits in second place for Serie A top scorers at 13 goals, six goals behind Ciro Immobile (19 goals).

As it stands as of today (January 6) Juventus is standing at the top of the table with 45 points, only 3 points ahead of Inter Milan (42 points). With Ronaldo currently being in form, it could not have come at a better time for Juventus, who need to win as many games as possible to try and extend their 3 point lead from Inter, and break away from the rest of the Serie A table.

Stay tuned for my Champions League predictions at the start of February!
