IT’S ZION TIME! (Finally)

After a long recovery from a torn meniscus, the long awaited debut of Zion Williamson is here.

Words cannot describe how excited I am to watch the most anticipated rookie to grace the hardwood since Lebron James. Watching him at Duke was a blessing and after three long months, we finally get to watch his New Orleans Pelicans debut tonight on ESPN against the San Antonio Spurs. He did not come in as the top guy to watch in the country as that title belonged to RJ Barrett. Zion, however, bullied and dunked his way into must-see TV leaving defenses and opposing rims destroyed.

He’s 19 years old but already larger than anyone in the NBA weighing 285 pounds. The best part about this kid is that he already has an elite passer at the PG position who will throw him a lob at any point in time in Lonzo Ball. It’s going to be interesting to see how he fits with this team since Brandon Ingram has evolved into their go-to scorer (avg 25.6/game). Ingram is a great player and he’s going to continue to get buckets. Make no mistake about it though, this is Zion’s team. This is Zion’s show. Tonight, we get to bask in all of his glory!
