This is a little late, BUT BEN SIMMONS HIT A THREE!!
There are a small amount of people that know this about me but I absolutely hate the Philadelphia 76ers. They’re a bunch of frauds when it comes to “The Process.” This franchise openly lost games to try and secure a good draft pick because that’s how they believed they could win in today’s NBA. It was so fraudulent for years…..until it actually worked.
Drafting Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons was essentially the end to the process. Now even the most die hard 76ers fans don’t even mention the process because it’s about the now. Joel Embiid is one of the best big men in the NBA and if healthy, can take over a game. The final piece to the championship team was will Ben Simmons shoot the rock? He did just that versus the Knicks the other night.
Honestly I don’t know what is worse: the fact it took Ben Simmons this long to actually shoot a 3 point shot in the NBA or that the Knicks allowed this to happen considering Simmons never attempts 3 pointers.
Both are embarrassing but I’m a Sixers hater. Even as a hater, I can appreciate this moment in time because this is the only thing missing from his game. Bottom line is Sixers fans can rejoice because him shooting is essential in chasing the Larry OB!
