Deke’s 2 Round Mock

Ahhh, the wonderful sound of nothingness as your friends poke through your second mock draft of the year. Thoughts racing through my mind…”Who did I forget?”…”Did I spell any names wrong?”…”Do they know I hate Matt Corral or is my secret still safe?”.

These are the questions that would keep me up at night if I thought that anyone knew anything more than the next guy during Mock SZN. Here are some of the key takeaway’s from Deke’s Mock 2.0.

  • There are only 3 quarterbacks taken
  • Wide receivers go on a BIG run in a BIG way
  • We under-estimate what a team will do to get an OT that’s worth a bag of potatos
  • Ojabo won’t fall as far as we fear, but he will fall.
  • The Steelers will take talent and it could be unsexy so I made this one slightly sexy.

If you want to scream at me on Twitter because I took a guy your favorite team just flat out didn’t need (trust me, the Ravens need a DT) @Dekewhiten is my handle for your venting pleasures. Let the record show that Curt, I love Malik Willis to the Falcons and I’m sorry for your recent loss of Matt Ryan to the Colts.
