Let’s run through the numbers people. Last weekend, Freiermuth fumbled the big game-winner against Detroit, and Jared Cook was my sit of the week. The good news is that he sucked which made this a 50/50 thing. Let’s try for week 11 here.
Starts
Start of the Week;
Dawson Knox vs Indianapolis Colts

Dawson Knox had a bit of a rough patch last weekend when he faced off against the Jets. he caught only one ball on two targets all game against a Jets team that has sucked against covering tight ends. Should it worry you? Not necessarily. It was his first game back from a fractured hand. I expect him to do much better in this week’s matchup against the Colts are ranked 27th against tight ends.
Pat Freiermuth vs Los Angeles Chargers

He was targeted quite a bit but really couldn’t make anything out of it including fumbling a ball which would have put the Steelers in field goal range to win against Detroit. Whether it is Ben or Mason, Pat should find some success against the Chargers who are terrible against tight ends. Don’t believe me? Ask Tyler Conklin who scored twice last weekend.
Dalton Schultz vs Kansas City Chiefs

Schultz had a bit of a rough go last weekend against the Falcons. With all the points the Cowboys put up, Schultz only had three catches for 14 yards. I like him to rebound this weekend when the Cowboys take on the Chiefs. Their defense is ranked 26th against opposing tight ends so Schultz is very likely to bounce back especially with CeeDee Lamb questionable in this one.
Tyler Conklin vs Green Bay Packers

I had Conklin as a start last weekend against the Chargers and it paid off as he found the endzone twice. He has become a great target for Kirk Cousins to hit for some scores. I like him to find success once again when the Vikings take on the Packers this weekend. Their defense ranks 21st against tight ends so Conklin is a good play this weekend.
Cole Kmet vs Baltimore Ravens

Kmet had a nice stat line against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I imagine he will find similar success again this week when he takes on the Baltimore Ravens. Their defense is ranked 30th against opposing tight ends, and Kmet so a huge uptake in targets two weeks ago. I expect these targets to keep coming and for Cole to do very well this week.
Sleepers;
Adam Trautman vs Philadelphia Eagles
Austin Hooper vs Detroit Lions
Geoff Swaim vs Houston Texans
Sits
Sit of the Week;
Dan Arnold vs San Francisco 49ers

Dan Arnold has become the top target in the Jacksonville offense of Trevor Lawrence and company. However, I don’t believe a game against the 49ers will be very friendly towards Arnold and company. Their defense has been one of the more aggressive squads toward defending against tight ends so yes, I would sit Arnold this weekend despite his production.
Jared Cook vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Cook has been slowing down in production as of late and a matchup against the Steelers sounds far from great. Hockenson put up a big fat goose egg, and that should level fantasy owners’ heads when it comes to this week. Cook has been losing work to other Chargers’ tight ends. It just doesn’t seem like a smart idea to play him this week.
C.J. Uzomah vs Las Vegas Raiders

Uzomah started off on fire this season but has been kind of dwindling into the ice-cold territory. I do not like this matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. I want to make it very clear that a lot of this is due to the fact of the number of weapons in the Bengals rather than the matchup. Other names should bring in points this week, not Uzomah.
Zach Ertz vs Seattle Seahawks

Ertz is kind of just another guy in this Arizona offense now. He also is starting to get lost in the shuffle with all of these names on this team. I firmly believe that if Murray comes back he could be better, but for right now I am just not the biggest fan of him in this system so far. The matchup against the Seahawks isn’t the best either honestly.
Evan Engram vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

He was a guy you could go to with all the important names on the shelf. Sadly, the injuries are fading away and important names are starting to come back. That means Engram is going to take another back seat in terms of the passing game. He should not be a factor in your lineups this week when the Giants take on the Buccaneers on Monday night. Remember this guy doesn’t know how to play football right?
Busts;
Gerald Everett vs Arizona Cardinals
Mo Alie-Cox vs Buffalo Bills
Ryan Griffin vs Miami Dolphins
