I’m extremely biased when it comes to the content that Marvel releases, so it’s fair to begin writing this blog with the statement that everything Marvel has ever put out in the MCU, I adore. I’m a massive fan of all of the Disney + shows that have been released, even Captain Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which saw a massive mix in reviews after the shows end.
New characters, new villains, new plots and the newest Superheros on the roster just get me out of bed in the morning. I went and witnessed greatness this weekend with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, so watching another nugget of the MCU’s latest push is the perfect way to start a week.
Hawkeye is one of the more intriguing MCU characters based on his loose past, tie in with storylines and ability to always be in the right place at the right time. We got a short amount of info on his Budapest past in The Black Widow movie but that led us wanting more.
Arguably my favorite moment of Hawkeye was at the beginning of Endgame when he was absolutely poo-pooing on anyone in his path after Thanos took away his family.
This leads us to the plot of the Hawkeye show, a “my past has caught up to me” holiday show.
Anyone else want to see the Rogers musical? No? Just me?
Despite the shows weird push for a Holiday show, I’m all for anything the MCU throws our way and will absolutely be waking up at 5 am each morning to watch the shows before any spoilers can be leaker. Welcome to Phase 4.
