That laugh that smile, thats how I have felt since roughly 11pm last night. Not because I was right (but I was very right) but because the humans on the court who won. Bobby Portis was a guy people over looked he was stunning last night. Or a guy like Jrue who could not find the rim last night for the life of him, but just putting in effort to affect the team positively.
Like our lord and savior Brooks Lopez. Who again when the team couldn’t create offense from anywhere he found a way.

What other athlete on the planet would skip celebrating with their teammates, or showing off in front of the camera to go hug their momma first.
Then dropped F-Bombs all over national television. I think because of the noise and his accent the guy on the bleep button missed 90% of them.
But here is the truth of the matter, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s performance in these finals rivaled only one other player in NBA history.

Not seen here is 20 points in the 3rd quarter only other person to do that was Michael Jordan. How about the fact that he went 17-19 in free throws the one glaring weakness in his game. He knew what time it was and he responded accordingly.
You can only think of a handful of moments in sports history where a single player has refused to lose a game. This will go down as one of the greatest. Because unlike some other performances he truly did it by himself. 9 bucks players played last night, Giannis had 50 of the 105 Bucks points. The next highest total was 17.
So before you shove it down my throat that this was a one and done and they wont be that good next year, I know. That run was magical and is enough to satisfy me for a life time. So save your breath and just be happy for the Greek Freak and his Bucks.
