Dre Final Mock draft 2.0

Man what a ride it’s been! We’re finally here at the true beginning of the NFL season. Free agency is truly an appetizer for what is to come when it comes to the NFL. there is nothing better than NFL Draft szn. There has been a ton of chatter and some movement, but as of now, we are finalized heading into tonight.

1. Jacksonville JaguarsQB Trevor Lawrence – no brainer
2. New York JetsQB Zach Wilson – now a know brainer since they love him
3. San Francisco 49ers QB Justin Fields – my 2nd best QB heading into the draft. You don’t trade up unless it’s worth it and Mac Jones ain’t it IMO
4. Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts – Probably the best non-QB in this class. Julio LITE
5. Cincinnati BengalsOT Penei Sewell – Protect Jeaux Burreaux
6. Miami DolphinsWR Jamarr Chase – Dolphins have been playing chess for years. Getting WR1 here is a steal
7. Detroit LionsWR Devonta Smith – With Jared Goff at the helm, you need weapons. Why not grab the 2020 Heisman trophy winner?
8. Carolina PanthersWR Jaylen Waddle – This is where things get tricky. I went with Waddle to replace Samuel, get Sam Darnold another weapon, and Robbie A is FA next year.
9. Denver BroncosOL Rashawn Slater – Just traded for Ted B but they were putrid at protecting the QB
10. Dallas CowboysCB Patrick Surtain II – They cannot keep running out garbage CBs on this D. It’s clear that the D is the weak link so let’s not be dumb Jerry.
11. New York GiantsOT Christian Darrisaw – 2nd most sacks allowed last year.
12. Philadelphia EaglesLB Micah Parsons – There are zero sideline-to-sideline guys at this level.
13. Los Angeles ChargersCB Jaycee Horn – You play in a division with Patrick Mahomes. Get guys that can cover receivers.
14. Minnesota VikingsOL Alijah-Vera Tucker – Dalvin Cook is seemingly the offense, so get a guy who can block the run. What I love about AVG is he can swing to OT to help the backside of Kirk Cousins (the Greg Malek clone)
15. New England Patriots QB Mac Jones – In reality, he won’t fall this far but Billy B gotta be happy about this.
16. Arizona CardinalsLB Zaven Collins – Defense is the weak link. This is them replacing Hassan Reddick.
17. Las Vegas RaidersS Trevor Mohring – Him and Johnathan Abram would be lethal on the back end. He’s the perfect compliment. I considered Farley here but I believe they value the CB position.
18. Miami DolphinsDE Jaelen Phillips – The Phins really have such a luxury with this pick. There’s many different ways they can go and it all depends on the 6th pick. Flores is a D guy so I can see Philips staying home.
19. Washington Football TeamQB Trey Lance – This is too late for Lance. He is rumored to go as high as 3. All things considered for the mock, they don’t have a QB of the future.
20. Chicago BearsCB Caleb Farley – DA BEARS love good CBs. They lost Fuller so another outside guy is the wave.
21. Indianapolis Colts WR Kadarius Toney – This is destiny to me. He’s the TY Hilton replacement for 2021. Get Carson Wentz as many weapons as possible.
22. Tennessee TitansCB Greg Newsome – They have to replace Adoree Jackson.
23. New York JetsOT Tevin Jenkins – Another luxury pick. The goal is to protect Zach Wilson and put a guy opposite of Mekhi Becton
24. Pittsburgh SteelersLB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah – PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN. I NEED HIM AND DEVIN BUSH IN THE MIDDLE
25. Jacksonville JaguarsOT Dillon Radunz – Protect the franchise in Trevor Lawrence
26. Cleveland BrownsDT Christian Barmore – They don’t need a ton but why not sure up the DL here. This would be the first off the board and a steal at 26.
27. Baltimore RavensOLB Azeez Ojilari – 1 out of 2 picks and they love their pass rushers.
28. New Orleans Saints CB Eric Stokes – Barring a trade as the rumors state, they are desperate for CB help. They’ll need it to cover the weapons of the Tompa Bay Bucs
29. Green Bay PackersWR Rashod Bateman – A Packers fan can dream right?
30. Buffalo BillsRB Najee Harris – The backfield is not good. Harris is a 3 down back and I know he’s been rumored to go to the Steelers…I just don’t see it.
31. Baltimore RavensWR Terrance Marshall – Lamar finally gets a legit weapon. Can he get him the rock? Time will tell.
32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Gregory Rousseau – A team is bringing back 32 starters…honestly I threw him in because I don’t know what they truly need. Sorry I’m not sorry.
