#32
New York Jets (0-8)
Previous Rank – 32

The Jets continue to suck, but they managed to put up nine points on the Chiefs. To be honest, that is nine more points than I thought they were going to put up. Their defense got torched, and now their linebacker Avery Williamson is heading to Pittsburgh. They’ll take on a wounded Patriots team next Monday night.
#31
New York Giants (1-7)
Previous Rank – 31

The Giants drop a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and with that remain at the second to last spot on the ranking. The Giants are just as bad in my opinion as the Jets, but they have more offensive weapons which helps their case. We will see if they play better against the Washington Football Team this week from their last encounter.
#30
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-6)
Previous Rank – 30

The Jaguars are coming off of their bye week in serious trouble of losing another game. Their quarterback Gardner Minshew is listed as doubtful with what appears to be a thumb injury. So, now rookie Jake Luton will be handling the quarterback duties. It won’t be a pretty one though as they’ll take on the Houston Texans this week.
#29
Houston Texans (1-6)
Previous Rank – 29

Speaking of the Texans, they are also coming off their bye week, and heading to face Jacksonville this weekend. I would normally give the win to Houston, but there are two factors that have been looming in my head from making that decision. One, Watson has trouble playing Jacksonville some times. Two, one of Houston’s receivers could be on the move which would impact game script for them. Who knows, but there you go.
#28
Dallas Cowboys (2-6)
Previous Rank – 25

Wow. Just wow. I didn’t expect this game to be amazing, but it could possibly have been one of the worst NFL games I had ever seen. The Cowboys are hot garbage right now, and it seems like the only one that benefited Sunday night was Michael Gallup. They struggled against the Eagles, and now they have a really tough matchup this week. They face the undefeated Steelers.
#27
Atlanta Falcons (2-6)
Previous Rank – 28

Atlanta was able to pull off a close win against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night, but honestly like I said it was close, and they almost blew another game. Matt Ryan didn’t do anything fantastic, and now Calvin Ridley is hurt as well. We will see what happens when Atlanta takes on Denver.
#26
New England Patriots (2-5)
Previous Rank – 22

2020 has produced some weird things, but honestly ranking the Patriots this low is one of them. I really thought adding Cam Newton was a solid move, but man has it backfired hard as Newton as been the main reason that the Patriots have lost some of these games. Turnovers left and right, and now the Patriots don’t appear to be much of a threat. They’ll likely have a win though cause they play the Jets Monday night.
#25
Cincinnati Bengals (2-5-1)
Previous Rank – 27

Cincy made a statement. They took down a giant task in the Tennessee Titans, and got their second win of the season. Burrow has been playing lights out despite not having a lot of wins, and it seemed like in this one that the defense finally stepped up a bit. We will see if the good graces can continue as they rest on their bye week.
#24
Washington Football Team (2-5)
Previous Rank – 24

The Washington Football Team comes off their bye week and will have a date with the New York Giants who bested them in their first contest by a point. After a dominating performance against Dallas, the Washington Football Team looks to deal another loss to the Giants.
#23
Minnesota Vikings (2-5)
Previous Rank – 26

This was the Dalvin Cook show. No one on Green Bay’s team could even remotely stop this guy. He has over 150 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns, and he was also the leading receiver. Kirk loves to rely on Cook so we will see if that keeps going into this matchup with the Detroit Lions.
#22
Philadelphia Eagles (3-4-1)
Previous Rank – 23

This game sucked. I have never seen the Eagles this bad. Like I knew they were bad, but watching them struggle against the Dallas Cowboys made me not want to move them up at all, but drop them instead. Had no choice but to move them up, but man they suck. I hate this team, and I hate this division. They’re on bye.
#21
Los Angeles Chargers (2-5)
Previous Rank – 20

It seemed that the Chargers were gonna put this one to bed, but for some reason they let the Broncos escape with a victory. It was odd to say the least, but hopefully this will be a lesson for Justin Herbert who has been great since taking over for Tyrod Taylor. The defense was the real let down here, and letting go over Desmond King will hurt them in the long run. They’ll play the Las Vegas Raiders this weekend.
#20
Carolina Panthers (3-5)
Previous Rank – 19

The Panthers fell to the Falcons last Thursday, and in scary fashion almost lost their quarterback after a huge shot to the head. He seemed okay coming back in, but it was dirty play. The Panthers should get Christian McCaffrey back and just in time too. They take on the Chiefs this weekend.
#19
Denver Broncos (3-4)
Previous Rank – 21

Well this was interesting. Drew Lock and the Broncos took it town to the wire, and they won with as the last second ticked off the clock. Denver is now trying to make a name for themselves here, and a match against the poor Atlanta Falcons passing defense is a good spot to make their mark.
#18
Detroit Lions (3-4)
Previous Rank – 17

The Lions dropped a loss to the Colts last weekend, and honestly gave up some pretty big points as the Colts put up 41 points on them. Golladay went out with an injury which hurt them too. The team currently sits third in the division, but it could get worse if they drop a loss to the Vikings this week.
#17
San Francisco 49ers (4-4)
Previous Rank – 14

The 49ers can’t catch a break man. They have officially become the NFL’s most injured team. Tevin Coleman came back only to injure his knee again, and to make matters worse both Garoppolo and Kittle were sidelined yet again with injuries. Garoppolo has a chance to return, but Kittle might be finished with a broken bone in his foot. They also traded Kwon Alexander so their defense is down too. They’ll take on the Green Bay Packers this Thursday.
#16
Las Vegas Raiders (4-4)
Previous Rank – 16

The Raiders stay put despite getting a win over the Cleveland Browns. The main reason being that the windy weather proved to be a run-first match up for the most of the contest. Nothing really exciting happened, but they did contain the Browns to just two field goals. They’ll face the Chargers this week.
#15
Miami Dolphins (4-3)
Previous Rank – 18

Miami was able to get the win over the Rams, and honestly didn’t need Tua that much to do so. Their defense hammered Jared Goff sacking him twice, forcing two interceptions, two fumbles, and a defensive touchdown. Tua was okay, not great, but okay. They’ll look to prove themselves against the Cardinals this week.
#14
Cleveland Browns (5-3)
Previous Rank – 13

The Browns took a loss to the Raiders in the weirdest fashion ever since beating the Bengals by like five passing touchdowns from Baker Mayfield last week. They didn’t score a single touchdown and had to rely on two field goals, but yes they lost the game. A weird one with the windy weather, but it will give them time to develop a game plan without Beckham as they go on their bye week.
#13
Chicago Bears (5-3)
Previous Rank – 12

The Bears drop a spot after losing to the Saints in overtime. This team looked bad to start the night, and honestly they kind of still looked bad the end of it. Stupid mistakes made by New Orleans and weird play calling got them to overtime, but the Saints prevailed. The Bears have a matchup with the Tennessee Titans this week.
#12
Los Angeles Rams (5-3)
Previous Rank – 9

Los Angeles, what happened here man? Goff was mauled all day long, and they were dreadful in terms of how they played. Goff passed the ball 61 times, and was only able to get one touchdown out of it. Cooper Kupp was targeted a total of 21 times and only got 11 of them. 21 times man? That’s insanity. This wasn’t their nest performance, and hopefully going on their bye week will help them understand how and why.
#11
Indianapolis Colts (5-2)
Previous Rank – 15

The Colts were able to simply dominate the Detroit Lions last weekend by putting up 41 points on them. The weird running back committee approach worked nicely in this game as Hines and Wilkins accommodated for a combined three touchdowns on the day. The Colts seem to be improving, and they’ll get a chance to proof it again with a match against the Ravens this week.
#10
Arizona Cardinals (5-2)
Previous Rank – 10

The Cardinals stay put after coming off their bye week. Now they’ll have an interesting task when they take on the Dolphins this week who made Jared Goff look extremely foolish. I have faith in Murray and Hopkins, and I also have faith in this defense taking on the rookie Tua.
#9
Tennessee Titans (5-2)
Previous Rank – 6

The Titans fall three spots after coming up short against the Cincinnati Bengals. A weird loss, but now the team has back-to-back losses against the AFC North. The Titans will look to improve especially on defense after they were able to acquire Desmond King from the Chargers. They’ll take on the Bears this week.
#8
New Orleans Saints (5-2)
Previous Rank – 11

The Saints squeak back into the top ten after an overtime win against the Bears. This team has been a little off this year, but without Michael Thomas it is easy to see why. However, they were able to silence the Bears. Now they have a rematch with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who have been hot lately.
#7
Green Bay Packers (5-2)
Previous Rank – 3

The packers move down a bit, and it is really at the fault of their defense. Not one person could stop Dalvin Cook this past weekend. He ran wild over them, and it almost gave me PTSD from the NFC championship game last year. They need to fix that issue, and they need to fix it now. Speaking of the 49ers, they’ll take them on this Thursday.
#6
Baltimore Ravens (5-2)
Previous Rank – 5

The struggles for the ravens continue as they took a hard fought loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend. They were able to rush more than any team has when they’ve faced Pittsburgh, but the defense was just too much for Lamar to handle as his turnovers made the game a lot closer than it should be. They take on another tough defense this weekend when they face the Colts.
#5
Buffalo Bills (6-2)
Previous Rank – 8

While the Bills didn’t win by much last weekend, it was more of a psychological victory than anything as they finally beat the New England Patriots. Give the defense props as they were able to make Cam Newton cough up a fumble to secure their victory. While Allen might be regressing, this team should hopefully stay its course as they take on Seattle.
#4
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2)
Previous Rank – 7

The Buccaneers almost dropped a game to the Giants last night so maybe putting them up this high is a risk, but the return favor is so sweet. They play the Saints this week, and will be getting Antonio Brown for that game. The amount of offensive weapons, and defensive playmakers make me think this going to be a good one.
#3
Seattle Seahawks (6-1)
Previous Rank – 4

Wilson really made this defense look like swiss cheese. Overall, a very good performance by Seattle as Metcalf and Wilson dominated through the passing game. Fourth-string running back DeeJay Dallas was also able to get in on some of the action with two touchdowns on the day. The defense was very suspect though, but hopefully Adams can come back and do well again.
#2
Kansas City Chiefs (7-1)
Previous Rank – 2

The Chiefs had an easy day at the office as they destroyed the Jets. The offense dominated as Mahomes had over 400 passing yards and five passing touchdowns against a horrible Jets defense. Not much else to say, they will face off against the Carolina Panthers this weekend.
#1
Pittsburgh Steelers (7-0)
Previous Rank – 1

Another close one nets the Steelers another win, and it was a big one too beating the Baltimore Ravens. I’m not gonna lie, the offense was horrendous in the first half, but Ben started calling plays and was able to get them back on track. The defense was great at times of getting turnovers, but letting big runs happen was not okay in my book. They should have a field day this weekend compared to the last one as they take on the horrible Dallas Cowboys.
